We have been raising bison at the Crane Trust for 7 years.

We have 6 wire fence, two hot wires, two barbed wires and two smooth wires top and bottom for wildlife.

We graze year round.
What method are the animals moved? (call, drive, both, horseback, pickups, 4 whlrs, etc):
We move animals by calling behind a bag of cake or a bale of hay.

The federal bison herds across the country are well represented in our herd. We have genetics from Yellowstone National Park, Teddy Roosevelt North and South herds, Badlands National park, Tall Grass Prairie National Preserve, Wind Cave National Park, Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, National Bison range, and Rocky Mountain Arsenal based on results acquired through testing at the University of California, Davis lab.

Our animals are strictly plains bison.
