All animals born on site.

Please provide the complete feed/nutritional regimen:
Iodized salt and mineral blocks, protein tubs with flaxmeal. Pasture supplemented with cane feed in the winter. Due to drought have fed milo bales last two winters.

What is the vaccination history?
Virashiield 6 and Covexin 8 for pneumonia and clostridium

What is the deworming history?
Pour on Ivermectin at roundup

What is the culling and retention protocol for the breeding herd that the animals came from?
Cow is culled after 2 breeding cycles without a calf.

What is the size of your breeding herd?
42 cows 3 years and older. 27 bulls two years and older

What is the size of your land base?
1,400 acres

How long have you been raising bison? How long at this location?
Raising since 2008, and at this location since 2010

What is the average cow weight?
1,000.4 lbs

What is the average (or usual range) of pregnancy (and/or weaning rate)?
Do not have records.

What type of pasture fences are the animals trained to?
4 strand, 50″ high. Most fence is high tensile steel and all is electric.

What land management style is followed? (Rotational grazing, season long-grazing, etc.)
Rotate between six pastures. Feed in winter months, but allow free range the whole pasture.

What method are the animals moved? (call, drive, both, horseback, pickups, 4-wheelers, etc.)

The black ones are from Custer State Park in South Dakota.

We rotate our herd on six paddocks on 1,400 acress. Flax, mineral and protein tubs along with iodized salt block are available for free feeding. We supplement pasture grazing with feed from October through April.
